We back young people in North London to build their future.
Spurs in the Community is the official charity of Tottenham Hotspur, backing young people across North London to learn, earn and lead.
For over 20 years, we've been creating safe trusted spaces where young people belong.
A young person living in the Spurs Heartlands deserves the same shot as a young person anywhere. So, every week, on every pitch, in every session - we show up.
More than 140 years ago, a group of local young people came together to create what would become Tottenham Hotspur. Today, from our home on Tottenham High Road, we continue that story by backing young people across the Spurs Heartlands to build futures of their own.
This is where we started. And it's still where we belong. Across N17, Haringey and Enfield, young people show up to free sessions, find a mentor who sticks around, and find out what they're capable of.
This isn't a charity that turns up once and disappears. It's the same coaches, the same doors, the same postcode - week after week, until belonging isn't a one-off, it's just how things are.

Lily is one of three young girls with Down syndrome at our adapted football sessions, run on the first Sunday of every month at Tottenham Community Sports Centre. All three were mascots for the Women’s team against Everton.
“The sessions have a huge positive impact for her dexterity, building muscle tone and fitness. They also create opportunities to build links and relationships within the Down syndrome community. That Spurs are providing a really local option makes it far easier to access all these benefits for Lily.”
Hana went from frequent detentions to thriving at school. She is one of over 1,000 local students on our delivery of Premier League Inspires, which pairs group sessions with mentoring.
“My mentor made me see things from a different perspective. It really helped open my eyes and realise ‘OK, I need to fix up’. A lot of the things I do now, before, I would have said ‘I can’t do this’. The Foundation helped me understand I’m capable of whatever I put my mind to.”
Kareem went from getting into trouble and being expelled from school to working at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after receiving our one-to-one employability support.
“If it wasn’t for Tottenham Hotspur, I’d definitely not be working here and could be doing something I shouldn’t. Mentoring helped me build my confidence, communication skills and feel happier in general.”
Stories from sessions, the young people building their future, and the odd invite to get involved yourself.
